OLVESTON AT SIX

OLVESTON AT SIX

The Theomin family was accustomed to hosting elegant and sophisticated house concerts in their magnificent home on Royal Terrace. In the Edwardian period, the drawing room became an intimate venue for recitals to which friends, society belles and the cognoscenti were invited.

In Olveston at Six, the doors of the drawing room are again opened for this series of early evening recitals focusing on the chamber music of husband and wife Robert and Clara Schumann and their lifelong friend Johannes Brahms.
